Our lead statistician Hedyeh Ahmadi earned her Ph.D. in Measurement, Evaluation, and Statistics from Columbia University in 2019 and her M.S. in Statistics from the University of California, Irvine in 2016. Her research focuses on the development and testing of methods for analyzing repeated measure/longitudinal growth models. In addition to exploring new methods, Dr. Ahmadi teaches advanced statistical methods to researchers via tutorial papers and intensive training workshops. More broadly, Dr. Ahmadi is interested in the use of regression models – particularly in the areas of meta-analysis and with censored salivary data. She has extensive interdisciplinary expertise and has consulted with researchers in Neuroscience (e.g. MRI data), Environmental sciences (e.g. air pollution data), Medicine, Pharmacology, Salivary Bioscience, Psychology, and Education. Additionally she has extensive experience with Adolescent Brain Cognitive Development (ABCD) data which is a nationwide population-based data set.
